On behalf of the new Executive Team of the St. Kitts and Nevis Association of Toronto (SKNAT), thank you for your membership and contribution in 2015.  We recognize that membership is a valued investment in our association and we trust that you will continue to support us.

At the end of this year, the SKNAT President, Mr. Randolph Edmead, will be leaving his post.  Mr. Edmead has been a trusted, professional leader and mentor for his team throughout his tenure.  Please join us in extending gratitude to Mr. Edmead and his team for their commitment to the advancement of your association.

As we look forward to the upcoming year in 2016, I am pleased and proud to announce many key initiatives. Highlights will include:

  • Establishment of a new outreach program
  • Release of a new website
  • Approval of an exploratory committee to investigate the viability of the purchase of a building
  • Approval of an exploratory committee to investigate the viability of a St.Kitts and Nevis reunion in 2018.
  • Introduction of new events (Youth Social, Sandbanks Picnic, Members Barbeque and Bus Trips)
  • Launch of new youth programs and joint ventures
  • Improvement in the diaspora and local contacts (to improve the well being of the less fortunate on the islands of St. Kitts and Nevis)

Our success in these endeavors can only come about with the collaborative effort from members like you. Henry Ford once said, “Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.”

In closing, on behalf of your 2016 Executive Team, please accept our wishes for health, happiness and continued success for the holidays and in the New Year.

Sincerely,
Loundanski Gumbs-Phillip
President
